By having small groups join each other by video to discuss the critical questions young women are facing, we hope to provide a springboard for discovery, collaboration and action. Whether part of the cultural and economic discussion of Nepal, the United States, Pakistan, or Uganda, issues such as gender parity and domestic violence affect and connect every young woman, and we know that change and understanding will be ignited by our similarities, rather than our differences.
We will choose young women worldwide to take part in these online discussions. Participation is free, and open to women 18-25 years of age if selected from our application process. Here are the steps:
While participation is free, it requires some effort on your part, as you will need to be chosen for the think tank. First you’ll answer a few brief questions so we can understand more about you, your world view, and what you can contribute to the conversation. Be bold!
If you are selected to participate, we will send you information for the call. You will need an internet connection to join us. Upon completion of the think tank, you will receive a certificate of participation from The Concordia Project.
You will then meet for our virtual discussion with other young women from around the world to discuss the issues most critical to your future, and see what ignites you to take action! After the think tank is complete, you will have access to a private discussion group for further conversation.
